Family Session at Corson’s Inlet State Park
There are few things more rewarding than documenting the full arc of a couple’s story. For us, Doug and Kiera have become more than just clients—they’re a family we’ve had the honor of walking alongside through some of life’s most meaningful milestones.
We first met them in 2023 when we photographed their wedding—a day filled with love, family, joy, and the kind of connection that makes our job so special.
That next year, we reunited on the beach in Brigantine for their maternity session, just weeks before they would welcome their first child. Kiera’s glow, Doug’s pride, the quiet anticipation of what was to come—it was beautiful to witness. And soon after, we got to meet baby Dougie during his in-home newborn session, a moment that officially began the next chapter of their lives.
Now, almost a year later, we found ourselves capturing the three of them together at Corson’s Inlet State Park, with baby Dougie just shy of his first birthday. The beach, with its soft dunes and quiet magic, was the perfect backdrop for a session full of warmth, joy, and the unmistakable rhythm of a family settling into their new shape.
What has touched us most isn’t just watching Doug and Kiera become incredible parents—but seeing how their love has deepened because of it. There’s a tenderness between them that wasn’t there before—new layers of teamwork, sacrifice, and quiet understanding. Parenthood has a way of stretching a relationship, and in their case, it has only made their bond stronger, more grounded, and even more beautiful to photograph.
And then there’s Dougie—full of personality, wonder, and the kind of joy that makes time feel like it’s standing still. He’s not just growing—he’s already bringing out the very best in the people around him.
We’re beyond grateful to be entrusted with capturing these seasons. From wedding vows to sleepy newborn snuggles, and now first giggles in the sand—we feel honored to help preserve these memories for a family that continues to inspire us.
Here’s to Doug, Kiera, and sweet Dougie—may we be lucky enough to keep telling your story as it unfolds
