Hello, there!

Family Session at Valley Forge - Katie
We walked into this session at Valley Forge Park already knowing it was going to be a meaningful one.
We’ve known Katie and Maggie for a few years now, ever since Maggie’s wedding at Ramblewood Country Club. That day was so full of love and amazing 70’s disco energy —and Katie and Jim were such a big part of that. So getting the chance to see them again, in a completely new season of life, felt really special. This time, though, they weren’t just showing up as wedding guests—Katie and Jim brought along their beautiful baby boy, Ryan. And of course, having Maggie there just made it even better. It honestly felt like no time had passed at all. She jumped right in helping with Kona (who, true to form, brought plenty of personality and energy), and it gave us time to catch up, laugh, and reminisce a little about that wedding day that first brought us all together.
There’s something really meaningful about photographing families you’ve known through different seasons. From celebrating Maggie’s wedding, to now documenting Katie and Jim as they start their own family—it’s the kind of full-circle moment that never gets old for us.
Valley Forge Park gave us the dreamiest fall setting that evening—soft light, open space, beautiful barns full of history, and just enough quiet to let these moments unfold naturally. Nothing felt rushed. Just a family soaking in this brand new chapter together.
Katie, Jim, and Ryan—we’re so, so happy for you guys. It means a lot to be able to document these moments for people we genuinely enjoy and have history with.
And Maggie—having you there made it feel like a reunion in the best way. We wouldn’t have had it any other way.
This is exactly why we love what we do.
Doug’s Headshots | Downtown West Chester
Doug’s session honestly just felt like hanging out—with a camera in my hand.
At this point, we’ve been photographing Doug and his family every year, so there’s already that built-in comfort. No awkward warm-up phase, no trying to figure each other out. So when he told me he wanted to put together acting headshots and start going after movie roles and gigs, it felt like a really natural next step—and a fun one to be part of. We met up in downtown West Chester, which ended up being the perfect setting for what he needed. These weren’t meant to be super polished, traditional studio headshots. No plain backdrops or stiff posing. We kept everything natural—using the light as it was, moving through different spots, and letting the environment do some of the work. The goal was simple: make it feel like him.
Doug brought three outfits, and each one gave us a different angle. We started with a black monochromatic look—clean, simple, and confident. It really put all the focus on expression, which is exactly what you want for this kind of work. No distractions, just subtle shifts that change the whole feel of an image. Then we moved into a lighter look that felt a bit more open and easygoing. The softer tones worked really well with the light bouncing around town, and these ended up having a really natural, approachable feel to them. We wrapped things up with a more casual, rustic look, which might’ve been my favorite of the three. It felt the most “lived in”—like you could actually place him in a scene. The kind of look that makes you stop and think, “yeah, I know that guy,” which is exactly what casting people are looking for.
In between all of that, we ended up talking about movies for a good chunk of the session. At one point we got into Weapons, especially after its recent Oscar win. Those conversations always end up shaping the shoot more than you’d think—it shifts the focus away from posing and more toward just being present in the moment.
And that’s really what this was about for Doug. Not trying to overdo it or play a character, but just showing range in a way that still feels grounded and real.
It’s always a little extra meaningful getting to photograph someone you already know well— especially when you get to help them move towards a goal. I’ve seen Doug in his “dad mode” plenty of times over the years… this was just a different side of that same person.
Doug, I’m rooting for you. I don’t think it’ll be long before one of these shots turns into something bigger.
Liz’s Senior Session | West Chester University
Liz graduated this past winter, and if you know anything about winter sessions, you know they can be cold. And this one? It was freezing. But if Liz was bothered by the temperature, you’d never know it. She completely braved the cold and showed up with the biggest smile, ready to celebrate such a huge milestone.
Getting to walk around campus with her felt less like a photoshoot and more like catching up while documenting such an exciting moment in her life. We wandered around some of the classic West Chester spots, talking, laughing, and stopping whenever the light looked too good to pass up. Even with the cold air, the campus had that calm winter feel that made the whole session feel really special.
Part of the way through the session, her boyfriend joined us for a few photos, which I always love. It’s so meaningful when grads include the people who were part of their journey. The two of them were so sweet together and brought such a fun, relaxed energy to the session. Those photos ended up being some of my favorites because they captured such a genuine side of this season of life for Liz.
Graduating is such a huge accomplishment, and it was so fun getting to celebrate this moment with Liz and document the end of her college chapter at West Chester. Sessions like this always remind me how special it is to capture these milestones for people you genuinely enjoy spending time with.
Liz, I’m so proud of you and so glad we got to do this together. Braving the freezing temperatures was totally worth it, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you.
Engagement Session at Marsh Creek State Park | Jess & Tyler
Jess and Tyler’s engagement session at Marsh Creek State Park was cold — no sugarcoating it. The kind of cold that makes you laugh while rubbing your hands together and instinctively stand a little closer. But despite the freezing temperatures, the afternoon felt easy, relaxed, and genuinely fun, which says a lot about these two and the way they show up for each other.
They brought along their dog, Odin, who was immediately part of everything. Being in front of the camera was a little new at first, but it didn’t take long before they settled in and forgot it was even there. Watching them warm up was one of my favorite parts of the session. The more we walked and talked, the more relaxed they became. Their body language softened, the laughs became more natural, and the moments felt real. Those are always the images we love most — the ones that reflect who a couple actually is.
As we explored the park, we found a spot along the water that honestly looks like a beach. The open shoreline and calm water were so pretty and unexpected, especially on a winter day. It gave the session a peaceful, almost coastal feel and made the perfect backdrop for Jess and Tyler to just be themselves (and pop some champagne) Odin clearly approved, making sure he stayed close for every moment eagerly waiting to get back to his parents.
Even with cold hands and red noses, Jess and Tyler leaned into each other and into the experience. You can see how steady and thoughtful their connection is — the kind that feels built on friendship, trust, and a lot of shared laughter. These two are getting married in 2027, and I’m already so excited to see what that day brings. If this engagement session is any indication, it’s going to be filled with genuine moments, meaningful connections, and a whole lot of love. We feel so lucky to be part of their story. Cold weather, a beautiful setting, and a couple who made it feel effortless — this session was such a joy to photograph.
Family Session at Ridley Creek State Park
November sessions at Ridley Creek State Park always have a little extra magic. The leaves are hanging on just enough to give us rich autumn color, the air feels crisp, and everything slows down in the best way. This family session was the perfect example of why late-fall photos are some of our favorites.
This sweet family of five came ready to have fun — mom, dad, their twin daughters, and their son. From the moment we started, the kids absolutely crushed it. Anyone who’s photographed young kids knows that’s no small feat, and this crew truly impressed us.
Of course, every successful family session has a little behind-the-scenes teamwork. The parents came prepared with some top-tier motivation: promises of Happy Meals and ice cream afterward. Honestly, that’s elite parenting strategy right there. We added a little extra encouragement on our end too — candy breaks sprinkled throughout the session to keep energy high and spirits happy. Hershey Kiss breaks quickly became a fan favorite and gave us plenty of smiles between shots.
One of our favorite parts of this session was the color coordination mom chose. The outfits worked beautifully with the natural tones of Ridley Creek in November — warm, cohesive, and timeless without being overly “matchy.” The colors photographed so well against the fall foliage and added an extra layer of polish to the final gallery.
One thing that really mattered to us during this session was making sure mom and dad were just as much a part of the story as the kids. As families grow and life gets busier, we see it all the time — parents naturally pour all their energy into their children, and somewhere along the way, photos of them together quietly disappear. The kids are documented beautifully, but the relationship that started it all often gets overlooked. We’re always intentional about changing that.
During this session, we carved out time for just the two of them — small moments, easy laughs, standing close, reconnecting for a second while the kids took a break (and enjoyed a few Hershey Kisses). These photos aren’t just “extra” images; they’re reminders. Reminders of who they are together in this season, of the partnership that carries their family forward.
We believe family sessions should tell the whole story. The kids matter deeply — and they did an incredible job — but so do the parents. Their relationship deserves to be documented through the years, just like every growing smile and missing tooth.
This family trusted us with that, and it meant so much. Capturing them at Ridley Creek this November felt less like a session and more like preserving a chapter — one full of love, laughter, candy breaks, and the quiet strength of two parents at the center of it all.
Family Session at Haverford College
Some sessions just feel easy in the best way—comfortable, familiar, and full of genuine connection. That’s exactly how this October session at Haverford College felt with Kyle, Andrea, and Cal.
We’ve known Kyle and Andrea for years now, and it all began with one of the most special milestones—Cal’s newborn session. We still remember meeting him when he was just days old, tiny and brand new, with his whole story just beginning. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of photographing this family multiple times, watching their lives unfold season by season.
Returning to photograph them again this fall was incredibly special. Cal is no longer that sleepy newborn—we’re now chasing a toddler with the brightest bleach-blonde hair and the kind of personality that keeps everyone smiling. Seeing that transformation firsthand is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. It’s not just about documenting how much he’s grown, but about capturing the joy, connection, and love that has deepened within their family over time.
Kyle and Andrea are always a joy to spend time with. Their warmth and ease with each other, and with Cal, make every session feel natural and relaxed.
Sessions like this remind us why we love what we do. Photography isn’t just about images—it’s about relationships, trust, and being invited back into people’s lives to document their story as it continues to grow.
We’re already looking forward to the next time we see this sweet family and to capturing all the moments still to come.
Christmas Sessions at Petit Social Studio, Delaware City, DE
There’s something truly special about Christmas sessions—the cozy details, the joyful energy, and the way families come together to celebrate the season. This year’s Christmas sessions at Petit Social Studio in Delaware City, Delaware were nothing short of magical.
Petit Social Studio was set up perfectly for Christmas. From festive décor to soft, inviting light, every corner of the studio felt warm and intentional. It created the ideal backdrop for families to relax, have fun, and simply enjoy being together. The space photographed beautifully and brought that timeless, classic Christmas feel to every session.
So many wonderful families came out to celebrate the season, and each one brought their own unique joy. One of those families was Hana and her family, whose session was full of matching pajamas, laughter, and sweet moments. Watching them interact and connect made capturing their memories effortless—they truly embodied the spirit of the holidays.
Another favorite session was with Savanna and her family, who brought along their adorable golden doodle, Milo. Including pets in family sessions always adds an extra layer of personality, and Milo absolutely stole the show. His playful energy, sweet nature, and gigantic hops brought so much life to their photos and made the session even more memorable.
These Christmas sessions were a beautiful reminder of why we love photographing families—freezing moments that feel warm, real, and full of love. From twinkling holiday details to genuine connections, every session told its own story, and we are so grateful to everyone who trusted us to capture their memories this season.
If you joined us at Petit Social Studio this year, thank you for making these sessions so special. We can’t wait to do it all again next Christmas. 🎄📸
Family Session at Everhart Park, West Chester Pa
Newborn Session in Delaware
Some newborn sessions just feel extra special, and Frankie’s was absolutely one of them.
We had the joy of spending a cozy October day in Frankie and Alyson’s beautiful Delaware home, welcoming their sweet baby boy, Frankie. From the moment we walked in, it felt less like a photo session and more like hanging out with friends—which honestly is our favorite kind of session.
Frankie and Alyson decided to keep the baby’s gender a surprise, and we loved that choice. The nursery was done in the softest yellow tones with a classic Winnie the Pooh theme, and it was perfect. Timeless, thoughtful, and full of warmth—just like their growing family.
Baby Frankie was an absolute dream. He gave us those sleepy, snuggly moments that make newborn photography so special, and we couldn’t get enough of capturing him curled up so perfectly in his parents’ arms. Watching Frankie and Alyson with him—so natural, so in love—was incredibly sweet. You could already tell how lucky this little guy is, especially with his little puppy sibling who couldn’t get enough of him.
And because this is their family, of course we had football on in the background. The session included plenty of bonding over fantasy football, a few laughs, and that relaxed, real-life vibe that makes photos feel genuine instead of posed.
These are the days that go by in a blur. The tiny fingers, the sleepy stretches, the quiet moments at home as a brand-new family of three. We are so honored we get to freeze this chapter for them.
Frankie and Alyson, thank you for welcoming us into your home and trusting us to document such a meaningful moment in your lives. Baby Frankie, you are so loved already—and we can’t wait for you to look back on these photos one day and see just how much.
Family Session at Drexel Lodge Park
Every year when we see this family on our calendar, we know it’s going to be a good day. This session marked our third year photographing them, and it’s been such a joy getting to know them more with each visit.
Asher, Roland, and Harrison bring an energy that fills the entire session from start to finish. They’re curious, playful, and always moving — keeping us on our toes in the best possible way. Each year they show up a little taller and a little more confident, and watching their personalities continue to unfold has been one of our favorite parts of working with this family.
Being invited back year after year to document these moments means more to us than we can put into words. There’s a level of trust that comes with familiarity, and it allows the sessions to feel relaxed, genuine, and full of real connection. These are the kinds of images that tell a story — not just of what they look like, but of who they are in this season of life.
We also love knowing these photos will soon be shared with friends and family as part of their Christmas cards. Getting one in the mail each year is always a highlight of the holiday season for us and a reminder of why we love what we do.
We’re so grateful for this family and the relationship we’ve built, and we already can’t wait to see how much Asher, Roland, and Harrison will grow before we meet again next year.
Fall Wedding at Mendenhall Inn
Some wedding days stay with you long after the last photo is delivered, and Nikki and Spencer’s day is absolutely one of those for us. From the very beginning, our relationship felt natural and genuine—and their wedding day took us right back to their engagement session, strolling through downtown West Chester, laughing, talking, and grabbing ice cream together. Those moments set the tone for everything that followed. By the time their wedding day arrived, it didn’t feel like we were was showing up as “the photographers.” It truly felt like spending the day with friends. That connection made the entire day feel effortless and real. There was trust, comfort, and so much joy woven into every moment, which allowed everything to unfold naturally. When couples let themselves be fully present like that, the day becomes less about timelines and more about memories—and Nikki and Spencer embraced that wholeheartedly. Their ceremony at St. Simon and Jude’s Parish in West Chester was emotional and timeless. As Nikki walked down the aisle, Spencer’s reaction was unforgettable. He instantly lit up with a smile which was more than words. The adoration he has for her was written all over his face—pure love, awe, and happiness all at once. It was one of those moments that speaks louder than words, and capturing it felt incredibly meaningful. The celebration continued at The Mendenhall Inn in Chadds Ford, and it was the perfect backdrop for such a joyful evening. The Mendenhall Inn is truly beautiful in every sense—its elegant reception spaces, charming details, and scenic grounds create an atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming. It offers so much versatility, from romantic portrait locations to spaces designed for an unforgettable party, making it a dream venue for weddings. And once the reception began, the energy was unmatched. The party was pure fun from start to finish. Heartfelt toasts, nonstop dancing, and a room full of people who clearly adore Nikki and Spencer made the night unforgettable. The Mendenhall Inn came alive with laughter, music, and celebration, and the dance floor stayed packed all night long. What made the day so special was how it felt—warm, joyful, and deeply personal. It was a true reflection of Nikki and Spencer: full of love, friendship, and fun. Being trusted to document their story, from ice cream in downtown West Chester to the dance floor in Chadds Ford, was an absolute honor. Nikki and Spencer, thank you for welcoming us into your world and your wedding day. Your celebration was heartfelt, beautiful, and unforgettable—and one we will always cherish.
Family & Maternity Session at Parque Ridley Creek
We recently had the joy of photographing a beautiful family as they prepare to welcome a new little life into their world. With fall leaves crunching underfoot and golden sunlight peeking through the trees, the session was nothing short of magical.
Theo and Nova — where do we even begin with these two? They were full of energy, giggles, and the kind of playful spirit that makes photographing children such a joy. Whether they were running through the grass, hugging their parents, or peeking around trees, every moment was filled with genuine happiness. You could feel how excited they are to become big siblings, and their bond is just the sweetest thing.
We are so honored to have captured this chapter in their story. We can already picture Theo and Nova doting on their baby sibling, sharing their laughter and curiosity, and bringing even more life and love to this incredible family.
To this sweet family: thank you for letting us freeze these fleeting moments. We cannot wait to see your hearts grow even more with your new arrival. 💛
Family Session at Ridley Creek State Park
There’s something really special about photographing people you’ve known from another chapter of life — especially when you get to see them step into beautiful new roles. That was exactly the case with Lexi. We used to work together, and now she’s a mom to the most adorable little girl, Brinley. Watching her and her husband Nick laugh, snuggle, and explore the golden woods of Ridley Creek State Park with their daughter felt like witnessing a full-circle moment.
More than just a session, it felt like I was getting a small glimpse into this family’s new rhythm — one filled with love, patience, and wonder. From coworkers to catching moments like these, I feel so lucky to be a part of their story, even in this small way.
Lexi, Nick, thank you for trusting me with your memories. And Brinley — I hope one day you look back at these photos and see just how loved you are.
Family Session at Ocean City, New Jersey
We love when our families come back for more photos—it’s like catching up with old friends, and with the Meglinos, that’s exactly how it feels.
We first met the Meglino family during our Red Truck Sessions last year, and from the very beginning, we clicked. They showed up with the biggest smiles, ready to have fun, and we left that session already hoping we’d get to work with them again. So when they reached out this summer for a beach session, we were so excited to see their names pop up in our inbox. This time, we got to capture them down the shore—barefoot, sun-kissed, and fully in their summer element.
Meglino crew—thank you for coming back to us. You guys are the real deal and photographing your family is always a highlight. Same time next year?
Family Session at Corson’s Inlet State Park
There are few things more rewarding than documenting the full arc of a couple’s story. For us, Doug and Kiera have become more than just clients—they’re a family we’ve had the honor of walking alongside through some of life’s most meaningful milestones.
We first met them in 2023 when we photographed their wedding—a day filled with love, family, joy, and the kind of connection that makes our job so special.
That next year, we reunited on the beach in Brigantine for their maternity session, just weeks before they would welcome their first child. Kiera’s glow, Doug’s pride, the quiet anticipation of what was to come—it was beautiful to witness. And soon after, we got to meet baby Dougie during his in-home newborn session, a moment that officially began the next chapter of their lives.
Now, almost a year later, we found ourselves capturing the three of them together at Corson’s Inlet State Park, with baby Dougie just shy of his first birthday. The beach, with its soft dunes and quiet magic, was the perfect backdrop for a session full of warmth, joy, and the unmistakable rhythm of a family settling into their new shape.
What has touched us most isn’t just watching Doug and Kiera become incredible parents—but seeing how their love has deepened because of it. There’s a tenderness between them that wasn’t there before—new layers of teamwork, sacrifice, and quiet understanding. Parenthood has a way of stretching a relationship, and in their case, it has only made their bond stronger, more grounded, and even more beautiful to photograph.
And then there’s Dougie—full of personality, wonder, and the kind of joy that makes time feel like it’s standing still. He’s not just growing—he’s already bringing out the very best in the people around him.
We’re beyond grateful to be entrusted with capturing these seasons. From wedding vows to sleepy newborn snuggles, and now first giggles in the sand—we feel honored to help preserve these memories for a family that continues to inspire us.
Here’s to Doug, Kiera, and sweet Dougie—may we be lucky enough to keep telling your story as it unfolds
Graduation Session at Arcadia University
Some sessions just feel like summer and celebration—and this one with Ella and Ashley at Arcadia University was exactly that.
They just wrapped up their degrees a whole year early (seriously, how impressive is that?) and have been each other’s constant through college, travel abroad, and all the chaos in between. So when they asked us to photograph their graduation session, we knew it needed to be more than just portraits—it needed to reflect them, their story, and the campus where it all came together.
We started on the lawn getting some golden hour photos and then went down the winding brick paths behind the castle—those little tucked-away corners of campus that feel almost secret. The trees filtered the light just right, and the ivy-covered walls were perfect for softer, more candid shots. Finally we went to Grey Towers Castle. It’s iconic, and it gave us that perfect blend of fairytale architecture and golden-hour light.
Ella & Ashley, congratulations!
Parque Ridley Creek Family Summer Session
It was over 100 degrees. The kind of heat that clings to your skin and makes you second-guess all your plans. But this family—this beautiful trio—showed up to Ridley Creek State Park with the kind of love that doesn’t just survive the heat... it shines through it.
From the moment we met in the parking lot (already sweating), we could tell this session was going to be something special. Yes, baby Ava was the heart of the shoot—chubby cheeks, curious eyes, soft baby laughs—but what really stood out was the connection between her parents. They didn’t just come to document their growing family—they also wanted to take time for just the two of them. To pause in the middle of parenthood and say, “This is us, too.”
And we loved that.
As we look back through the images, we see so much more than just pretty photos. We see a couple who’s still deeply in love, now holding their daughter in the middle of it. We see a family that chooses presence over perfection. And we see a summer day that none of us will forget.
To this sweet family: thank you for trusting us, for braving the hottest day of the year, and for letting us witness your love—not just for Ava, but for each other.
Paint War Couple’s Session | Glenolden Park
These two have been together for three amazing years, and ever since year one, they’ve been dreaming about doing a paint war photoshoot. Life kept getting in the way (because, ya know, adulting), but this year? They finally said, “Let’s DO this.” And ohhh, did they ever.
What I loved most was how this wasn’t about getting perfect photos. It was about them being them—goofy, spontaneous, totally in love, and not afraid to get a little (okay, a lot) dirty. The kind of love that’s not just about the Instagram-worthy moments, but about the real stuff—the messy, hilarious, heart-full-in-your-throat kind of stuff.
Dom & Stacey: You absolutely crushed this session. Thank you for bringing the color, the chaos, and the full-on magic. Here’s to three years of love, laughter, and many more paint wars in your future. ❤️💛💚💙
David & Tori’s Engagement Session | Ott’s Exotic Plants
Engagement Session at Ott’s Exotic Plants | Tori & David
We are so excited to share this magical engagement session with Tori and David at one of the most unique and lush locations in the area—Ott’s Exotic Plants. This place feels like a hidden jungle tucked right into Pennsylvania, and it was the perfect backdrop for a couple whose energy is just as warm and vibrant.
Tori’s vision for their engagement session was spring florals and we accomplished just that! Tori’s flowing floral dress that complemented the surroundings beautifully, while David kept it neutral, classic, and cool, perfectly coordinated. Every corner of the greenhouse gave us a new little pocket of paradise to explore.
We met these two back in October at Arianna & Billy’s wedding at the Lazaretto Ballroom. They were both members of the bridal party—Tori as one of the bridesmaids and David as a groomsman. So when they reached out about doing their engagement photos we were absolutely thrilled!
Seeing these two become more comfortable and confident behind the camera is nothing short of rewarding! It starts with teaching them our core poses, and implementing silly, cute prompts to help them relax and loosen up behind the camera. Seeing this come to life on them has us so excited to photograph their wedding in May of 2026!
Dani & Crystal’s Birthday Session | Valley Forge National Park
Because turning 40 with your best friend calls for McDonald’s fries, a bottle of wine, and a fierce game of Sorry!
When Crystal and Dani reached out to book a birthday shoot to celebrate their 40th birthdays together, we knew it was going to be fun. But we had no idea just how much personality, laughter, and creativity they were going to bring to the day — and honestly? It was iconic.
These two met at work years ago and instantly clicked — the kind of "we’re going to be best friends forever, whether we like it or not" kind of connection. Fast forward to now, and their friendship has grown into something truly beautiful. They've been through everything together, and they still make time for wine nights, inside jokes, and check-ins that feel like therapy sessions and comedy shows.
And let’s talk about this shoot.
Crystal and Dani didn’t just show up — they showed out. They brought their favorite things to the session, turning it into a full-on celebration of who they are: McDonald’s fries and cheeseburgers — because some cravings are lifelong, and nothing says “comfort food” like a golden arches run with your bestie. The game Sorry! — a nod to all the competitive game nights over the years. We got shots of them mid-game, mid-trash talk, and fully in their element. Let’s just say… no actual apologies were made. Wine — naturally. Because what’s a milestone birthday without a toast (or two) to all the memories made and the ones still to come?
Crystal & Dani, you make 40 look amazing. Thank you for letting us capture your love for life, for each other, and for McNuggets. We can’t wait to see these images light up your birthday bash this summer!
Happy Birthday, ladies — and cheers to fries, wine, friendship, and four fabulous decades
