Barn at Silverstone Wedding | Lancaster, Pa

One of the coolest parts of this job is getting to see people again.

We first met David and Victoria back in 2024 at Arianna and Billy’s wedding at the Lazaratto Ballroom. They were both in the wedding party — David was a groomsman and Victoria was a bridesmaid — so we got to spend a good part of the day with them and get to know them a little bit.

Then, not too long after, they reached out to us about their own wedding.

We had gone from photographing them as part of someone else’s wedding party to getting to photograph the two of them getting married. We were so excited when they booked with us, and by the time their wedding day finally came around, it honestly felt like we were going to hang out with friends.

This time, though, they were the ones getting married. And they picked a pretty awesome place to do it.

The Barn at Silverstone in Lancaster was such a great fit for these two. It has that rustic barn feel without feeling overly done, and the property itself gives you so much to work with. There’s plenty of open space, the barn has tons of character, and there are even animals hanging out around the property.

Which, obviously, we loved.

There’s just something fun about walking around a wedding venue and having animals casually doing their thing in the background. It adds a little bit of personality to the place and makes it feel like you're somewhere special rather than just at another wedding venue.

And then there’s the barn itself. The wood, the warm tones, the natural light — it all worked so well with the feel of their wedding. It gave us plenty of great spots for photos without ever feeling like we had to force anything.

The getting-ready spaces were another big plus. David and the guys had their own area to hang out and get ready, while Victoria and the girls had their own space on the other side. It gave both groups room to relax, hang out, and enjoy the morning before everything got crazy.

The whole day just felt like them. Relaxed, fun, and full of people they genuinely love being around. There was no shortage of laughs, and once the reception started, they definitely weren't holding back.

These two tore up the dance floor.

Their friends and family were right there with them, and the energy just kept building throughout the night. It was one of those receptions where you look around and realize pretty much everyone is having the best time.

The team at The Barn at Silverstone also deserves a shoutout. They did a great job keeping everything organized and moving throughout the day. As photographers, we really appreciate that. When the venue staff knows what they're doing, the couple gets to actually enjoy their wedding instead of worrying about what's supposed to happen next.

And that's exactly what David and Victoria did.

They enjoyed it.

They laughed, they danced, they hung out with their friends, and they soaked up the whole night.

David and Victoria, we're so happy we got to be part of this one.

It was pretty awesome meeting you two back in 2024 and then getting to come back around and photograph your wedding. Thanks for trusting us with it and for making it such a fun day to be a part of.

We hope you love these photos as much as we loved taking them.

And seriously... we're still not over that dance floor.
