Family Session at Everhart Park, West Chester Pa

This session at Everhartt Park was so much fun! From the moment we started, it was exactly what we expected (and hoped for): lots of movement, lots of laughter, and three very energetic kids doing what they do best—being themselves. No stiff posing, no forcing smiles. Just running, joking, and climbing. And of course, Saquon was right in the middle of it all. If you’ve photographed this family before, you know Saquon isn’t just “the dog”—he’s part of the family. Whether he was tagging along with the kids, sneaking into family hugs, or deciding he had his own plan entirely, he brought so much personality to the session. I love how naturally they include him, because that’s real life, and that’s what I want their photos to feel like.

Everhartt Park in West Chester, gave us the perfect space to let everything unfold naturally. Wide open areas for the kids to run wild, quiet moments tucked in between, and that beautiful mix of playful and peaceful that works so well for families like this. Some of our favorite moments came from the in-between—parents laughing as they watched the chaos, kids running, and quick hugs that didn’t last long because someone had somewhere else to be.
